This website
This website (http://pepnuts.com) is a plain set of pages. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, social media widgets or third-party fonts and scripts: everything is served from our own site.
Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. We don't use these logs to identify anyone. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc.; see GitHub's privacy statement.
When you e-mail us
If you write to us, we receive your e-mail address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to answer you and to help with your question, we don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't share it with anyone except where the law requires it. We delete support e-mails when they are no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.
Our games
Every Pepnuts game follows the same rules: no accounts, no chat, no analytics, no tracking, and game progress saved on your device only. Some games offer optional ads and in-app purchases through services described in that game's section (non-personalised ads only; purchases handled by Apple or Google).
Children's privacy
Our games are for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at support@pepnuts.com and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU/UK or California), you have rights such as access, correction, deletion and objection. Because we keep almost nothing, there is usually nothing to hand over or delete, but we will always answer: write to support@pepnuts.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and its effective date. If a change affects a game (for example a new service), we will say so in that game's section and, where required, ask for consent again before the change applies.
Bark Brigade
Full policy for Bark Brigade, also on its own page.
- Effective date: 11 October 2026

- This policy online: http://pepnuts.com/privacy/ and http://pepnuts.com/games/bark-brigade/privacy/
Bark Brigade is a casual game suitable for all ages. We built it to collect as little as possible: the game itself does not collect, store on a server, or share any personal information.
The short version
- You don't need an account, a name or an e-mail to play.
- Your game progress stays on your device.
- The game never asks where you are, never uses the camera or microphone, and has no chat.
- Buying something always asks for confirmation first, and so does opening a web page or an e-mail from the game.
What the game stores, and where
The game keeps one save file on your device only. It contains:
- game progress (stages and levels reached, stars, best results),
- bones (the in-game currency), upgrades, puppy skins and launcher paints,
- missions, the daily-treat calendar and simple play counters (for example puppies fired),
- settings (sound, music, vibration, whether optional ads are offered),
- which optional purchases are active on this device (for example “No Ads”), so they work offline.
This file never leaves the device through the game. It is deleted when you uninstall the app, and you can clear your progress at any time with Settings → Reset progress. Device backups made by your phone's operating system (for example Android or iCloud backup) may include app data according to your own backup settings.
We do not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising identifiers (IDFA / Android Advertising ID), location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any account system.
Services we use
Optional ads. The game can show ads only when a player chooses to watch one for a reward (for example double bones), plus an occasional short ad between runs. Every ad request is marked as non-personalised and limited to G-rated content (suitable for all ages). The ad network may process limited technical information (such as the device type, operating system, IP address and ad interactions) to deliver and measure the ad and to prevent fraud; it may not use it to build a profile or show personalised ads. No ad network is connected yet, so no ads are shown; we will name the network and link its privacy policy here before any ads go live. You can turn all ads off in Shop → Store → “Offer optional ads”; buying No Ads removes the between-run ads.
In-app purchases. Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never see payment details. To unlock and restore purchases we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat's privacy policy), which receives the store receipt and a random, anonymous app user id. It does not receive the player's name or contact details. Every purchase and restore asks for confirmation first and shows the price.
Children's privacy
Bark Brigade is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or from anyone else: the game has no accounts, chat, user content or analytics). If you believe personal information about a child under 13 has reached us, contact us at support@pepnuts.com and we will delete it.
Your rights
Since we hold no personal data on our servers, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete on our side; you control the local save on your device. For data processed by the app stores, RevenueCat or the ad network, you can contact them directly or ask us to help: support@pepnuts.com. Residents of the EU/UK, California and other regions have rights under their local laws (for example access, deletion and objection); we will answer such requests within 30 days.
Security
The save file is stored in the app's private storage area on the device, which other apps cannot read on a non-modified (non-rooted / non-jailbroken) device.
Changes
If this policy changes (for example when a new service is added), we will update this page and the effective date, and, where required, ask for consent again before the change applies.
