These are the rules for using our games and this website. We tried to keep them short and friendly.
1. Who we are
Pepnuts makes cheerful, gentle mobile games for everyone. You can reach us at support@pepnuts.com. We are based in Milan, Italy.
2. Using our games
When you download a Pepnuts game, we give you a personal, free, non-exclusive licence to install it and play it on your own devices for fun. You may not copy it, sell it, rent it out, take it apart, cheat with tools that change the game, or pass off our characters and art as yours. Everything in the games and on this website (the puppies, the cats, the music, the art, the names and the code) belongs to us or to the people who licensed it to us.
3. Purchases
Our games are free to download and play. Some offer optional purchases, such as extra looks or removing ads. Every purchase shows its price and asks you to confirm first, and nothing can be bought during play.
Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by us, and their terms apply to your purchase. Refunds are decided by them: see Apple: Report a Problem or Google Play refunds. If you get stuck, e-mail us and we will help where we can.
4. Virtual items have no cash value
Bones, skins, paints and other items in our games are virtual. They are not real money, they have no cash value, you can't sell or swap them for money, and we can't refund them except as required by law or by the store's rules. They only work inside the game they came from. Some items are used up when you get them, so they can't be restored.
5. Ads
Our games show an ad only when you choose to watch one for a reward, plus a rare short break between runs that you can turn off in the game. Ads are not personalised and are limited to content suitable for all ages. Please tell us if you ever see something that does not belong.
6. Playing nicely
Please don't misuse our games or website. That means no hacking, no cheating tools, no trying to break or overload our services, no breaking the law, and no sending us harmful, rude or unlawful messages. If you do, we may stop you from using the game.
7. Age
Our games are rated for all ages but are made for a general audience, not for children, and are not directed at children under 13. They have no accounts, no chat and no tracking. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, use our games only with permission from whoever is responsible for you and the device.
8. Privacy
We collect as little as possible. Our privacy policy explains what the website and each game store and which services they use.
9. Things can go wrong
We do our best to make our games fun and reliable, but they are provided “as they are”. We don't promise they will always work, be free of bugs or be available forever. The law may give you rights that these terms can't take away, and nothing here limits them.
10. Changes
We may update the games, and we may change these terms, for example when we add a feature or the law changes. When we make an important change, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the game or on this page. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, please stop playing and delete the game.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes go to the courts of Milan, Italy, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
